I have decided to create this blog as a place to share my journey back to my soldier. I am sure I am not the only one who has experienced the tough side of being with a man in the military- not all military relationships are a fairy tale, and I am sure many of you ladies out there can testify to that. I am not here to only share a love story, but a story about struggle and heartache. I am here to be honest and real. I have not seen A. in over two years. Around the end of Summer/early Fall he will be back in the states after being stationed in Europe the past two years. A lot has happened in that two years, and honestly, many days, I am surprised to even be in contact with him anymore. I am anxious and I am scared, but I am also excited and overwhelmed with emotion. If you are interested in learning about this 8 year relationship, follow me along on this journey as we navigate our way my back into each other's arms.

P.S. 

1. All of my posts will follow a timeline from 8 years ago until now. 

2. Posts titled "Currently" will consist of where A. and I are now and/or how we are doing, planning to see each other late Summer/early Fall and so on.

3. My profile picture was taken the last time we saw each other in person, roughly 2 years ago. He wrote that on my hand before he boarded the plane to his duty station in Europe. 

4. I rarely re-read my posts thoroughly, so if you are a grammar queen/expert/freak/snob ;), I apologize and I accept you for who you are. Show me your ways.

6. I am genuinely a private person so blogging like this is a huge step for me, so bear with me.

7. I am currently finishing a Bachelor's program and about to start a Master's program, therefore, I sometimes wanna pull my hair out and cry- I don't like that stress et al. (If you get that joke/pun-then you get me and I love you). I will probably talk about this stuff as well from time to time. 

8. I like music and food, so I might talk about that stuff too.
